Charles Taylor opens new office in Leeds; appoints director

Loss adjusting business Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA) has established a new office in Leeds specialising in professional indemnity.

The office will be headed up by director Bob Paterson who joins the company from a leading city law firm. The company has also hired a number of chartered civil engineers, chartered loss adjusters and a chartered quantity surveyor.

Stuart Allison, director - head of professional and financial risks, CTA London said: "Bob and his team bring an excellent track record and expertise in the professional indemnity space which can be highly complex, involving disputes between professional providers and their clients. Their experience will be of great value and I’m very pleased to welcome them to the team.

"Developing our professional indemnity loss adjusting capability is part of our strategy to build our international P&C adjusting business. We have recently developed a global cyber-liability adjusting capability and expanded our P&C adjusting teams across the USA and in Latin America."
