Chubb reshuffles leadership in US mid-market and third-party admin

Chubb has tapped a 25-year insider and to-date leader of third-party administration to head up specialty for North American middle market, sending a southeast regional US company leader to fill the gap created.

Leigh Anne Sherman (pictured) moves from a post as division president at  Chubb's third-party administrator ESIS to become specialty officer for North America middle market, replacing three-decade vet Joseph Clabby at retirement.

Sherman has been with  Chubb for 25 years, including the ESIS post and prior stints in management liability and financial lines.

Chubb named one of its own insurance leaders from the southeast region, Jim Shevlin, to fill in for Sherman at the ESIS post.

Chubb group and division president for North America middle market Ben Rockwell commented: “We look forward to having Leigh Anne join Commercial Insurance. She has a proven track record in leading innovative organizations and driving results and will be able to leverage decades of insurance industry knowledge and experience in this new role.”

Rockwell added: “Over the years, Joe has served the organization in a variety of leadership roles and has been instrumental in helping to grow our business. On behalf of  Chubb's entire management team, we thank him for his many contributions and wish him all the very best during retirement.”
