CRC Group draws on lifers to rebuild leadership at E&S MGA unit Tapco
US wholesale specialty insurance firm CRC Group tapped two long-term insiders in rebuilding leadership at its excess and surplus lines MGA Tapco Underwriters after the to-date CEO passed away after an equally long term.
Keith Allred (Pictured), with three decades in E&S including two decades in Tapco, will succeed long-time CEO Bill Pinson, who passed away in June 2022.
Virginia Clancy will step up after thirty years with the firm to become chief underwriting officer. She opened the Clearwater, FL office for TAPCO in 1994 and has since led the Florida region. She was promoted to vice president in 2000.
The president of CRC Group’s binding division West McAdams commented: “Keith is one of the pillars of TAPCO’s success and the right person to take TAPCO to the next level.
