DEKRA swoops on rivals Sedgwick/Crawford to expand internationally
Loss adjuster DEKRA has expanded its international footprint entering a new market with the hiring of senior professionals from rivals Sedgwick and Crawford & Company. The new recruits will lead the establishment and expansion of its loss adjusting business in the Asia Pacific region.
DEKRA has launched its loss adjusting business in New Zealand, to be led by Kevin Foot (pictured, right) and Helen Gentle (pictured, left) as directors.
Foot has 30 years of insurance industry experience including extensive international experience in large and complex losses. Most recently, he worked as a senior loss adjuster at Sedgwick in Adelaide, Australia, and prior to that served at Crawford & Company.
Gentle also brings over 30 years’ experience across the insurance industry including international and catastrophe loss adjusting, technical claims management and operational strategy to the role. She joins from Crawford & Company, where she served as an external loss adjuster.
