Dual appoints CFO from Co-operative
Dual, the underwriting arm of Hyperion Insurance, has appointed Andy Elston, formerly a director at Co-operative Group, as chief financial officer (CFO), Dual Group.
Elston will be based at Dual’s London office, working closely with finance teams across the Dual group.
Chartered accountant Elston brings over 20 years’ finance experience to DUAL, having led finance operations in insurance and financial services companies including Co-operative General Insurance, Amlin, RBS Insurance and RSA.
Elston joins Dual from the Co-operative Group, where he most recently held the interim position of finance director, cost performance, following his tenure as interim finance director of Co-operative General Insurance.
He has also served as interim CFO at Amlin Corporate Insurance, European financial controller at ACE Europe, head of statutory & regulatory reporting at RBS Insurance and director of financial control at Cox Insurance, and various senior finance positions at RSA.
