Endurance launches marine & energy business

Bermudian Endurance Specialty has appointed Adrian Poxon to launch a global marine and energy reinsurance business.

As global head of marine & energy, Poxon reports to Peter Mills, executive vice president and head of global specialty reinsurance and is joined by Reinier Jansen, deputy head of marine & energy and two senior underwriters, Matthias Wisotzki and Stephan Schrecke. The team is located in Endurance's Zurich office.

Poxon joined Endurance from PartnerRe where he was head of marine and offshore energy for the past seven years. Prior to that, he held a similar role for Gerling in the UK for five years and was with several London market brokers and insurers earlier in his career.
