Everest bolsters cyber practice with Zurich, Arch and Liberty hires
Everest Insurance has expanded its Everest Specialty Underwriters (ESU) financial lines group with the addition of three new cyber liability team members.
The team, led by vice president and cyber practice leader Kevin Sherry, is focused on providing cyber liability coverage and solutions to firms across all industries.
Raphael DaCosta joins Everest as a manager, responsible for middle market and national accounts predominantly in the Northeast and Midwest regions. DaCosta comes to Everest from Zurich, where he worked as a senior underwriter focusing on security and privacy, miscellaneous professional liability, tech E&O, manufacturers E&O and employed lawyers liability. Prior to Zurich, Raphael began his underwriting career at Chubb.
Melissa Bell and Jenna Belous join as associate managers, responsible for handling middle market and national accounts in the South and West Coast Regions, and the Northeast Region, respectively.
Bell comes to Everest from Arch Insurance Group, where she was an underwriter in Cyber and E&O. Belous joins from Liberty Mutual, where she worked as an underwriter in data privacy and technology.
