Fenchurch Law expands property claims disputes team

Fenchurch Law, a UK firm working exclusively for policyholders and brokers on complex insurance disputes, has expanded its construction and property claims disputes capabilities with a new hire.

The company has appointed Jim Robenalt as senior associate. He joins from US law firm Williams Kastner which is based in Seattle and Portland.

Robenalt has over a decade of experience in litigating coverage disputes arising from property damage, bodily injuries, construction defects and environmental liability, working both for and against a number of leading insurers on first and third-party claims. He has also advised on claims notification and claims management issues.

David Pryce, managing partner at Fenchurch Law, said: “Now more than ever it is important for us to continue to invest in building our experience and capabilities. Jim is an important addition to the team, bringing with him a combination of coverage disputes expertise and international insurance law experience. His background in the property and constructions markets will also be valuable to our clients.”

Robenalt commented: "Fenchurch Law’s commitment to levelling the playing field for policyholders in insurance coverage disputes together with their position in the world’s pre-eminent insurance centre were important factors for me. I was keen to join a dynamic, boutique law firm and so am happy to be part of the team.”
