Former Willis CEO Casserley joins private equity firm as advisor

The former Willis Group CEO, and Willis Towers Watson president, deputy CEO and board member Dominic Casserley has joined private equity firm Warburg Pincus as a senior advisor in its Financial Services Group.

Casserley left Willis Towers Watson in December 2016. He joined the Willis Group in 2013 as CEO, a position he held for three years, and led the company's merger with Towers Watson in in January 2016. Prior to that, he spent 30 years at McKinsey & Company, where he held several senior leadership positions in New York, Hong Kong and London, with a consulting focus on financial services and risk management.

In his new role at Warburg Pincus, Casserley will support the firm in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities in the financial services sector, including in the banking and insurance industries, the company said.
