Gallagher brings Australian aviation insurance broker into fold

Arthur J Gallagher has acquired a specialist aviation insurance broker in Australia to enhance its offerings and cross-selling opportunities in the country.

Brisbane, Queensland-based Aviation Insurance Australia is to join Gallagher fold but will retain its current location and team under the direction of Paul Harvey, managing director of Specialisms for Gallagher in Australia.

Founded in 1993, Aviation Insurance Australia is a specialist retail insurance broker serving aviation and aerospace clients throughout the country, led by Ian Tait.
