Gallagher snaps up US commercial broker and MGA Jack Nebel
Broker Arthur J Gallagher has acquired North Barrington, Illinois-based The Jack Nebel Companies, a wholesale commercial insurance broker and managing general agency (MGA).
Jack Nebel Companies serves independent retail agents and brokers across the Midwestern United States. It offers a variety of property/casualty coverages, with a primary focus on general contractors, artisan contractors, apartments, mixed-use properties and vacant buildings.
Following the deal, Jack Nebel, Brian Nebel and their associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Joel Cavaness, president of Risk Placement Services (RPS), Gallagher's wholesale broker and MGA.
