HDI Global Specialty continues hiring spree from Neon

HDI Global Specialty SE has made two new senior hires from Neon to bolster its management liability & financial institutions team.

Both Louise Parker and Charles Boorman join the specialty lines insurer’s London office from Neon Syndicate 2468 with immediate effect.

Boorman joins HDI Global Specialty SE as head of management liability & financial institutions, having held the same role at Neon where he oversaw the running of its commercial and financial institutions book from 2017. He has previously held similar roles at Probitas Syndicate 1492 and QBE Europe, as well as senior broking roles at Aon.

The announcement follows the hiring of two senior political and credit risk underwriters, also from Neon.

Richard Taylor, HDI Global Specialty SE UK managing director, said: “These are testing times for the industry and the country as a whole, so to be able to continue to build upon our talent pool and expand the business at a time like this is testament to our disciplined underwriting approach and robust business model. Both Louise and Charles bring with them a wealth of underwriting expertise that will no doubt add to our performance and continued resilience.”
