Hiscox appoints Aspen exec as interim CFO

Hiscox has appointed John Worth, the former chief financial officer (CFO) of Aspen Insurance, as interim CFO until a replacement is found.

In April this year, Worth’s predecessor Stuart Bridges announced he would be leaving in August to take up a new role as group finance director of markets operator ICAP.

The search for a replacement is in progress under the direction of the nominations committee.

Worth has held a number of senior financial roles within insurance and banking including with Barclays, Ernst & Young, Prudential and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
