Hiscox hires former SCOR head of ILS strategies to help grow business

Specialist global insurer  Hiscox has hired the former  SCOR Investment Partners insurance-linked securities executive to help grow and diversify its ILS business.

Vincent Prabis has been appointed as managing principal for Hiscox ILS. His appointment is subject to Department of Immigration and Bermuda Regulatory approval.

In his new role, Prabis will be responsible for spearheading the company’s ILS evolution, ensuring investor demands for high-quality, innovative and diversified solutions are met. He will also become a member of the Hiscox Re & ILS executive team and will report to Kathleen Reardon, CEO of Hiscox Re & ILS.

Prior to joining Hiscox, Prabis served as head of ILS strategies at SCOR Investment Partners where he oversaw the strategic direction of a well-diversified ILS business.
