Insurance broker McGill and Partners plucks EY insurance & legacy guru
Specialist re/insurance broker McGill and Partners plucked a 10-year insurance guru from Ernst & Young as a new partner to bolster its structured solutions team for ongoing growth.
Dan Cordina has spent a decade at Ernst & Young over two tenures through varied insurance, banking and capital markets plus restructuring and insolvency teams. McGill and Partners call out his roles to date in economic and legal finality solutions, including traditional legacy reinsurance deals, as well as the sale of a specialist legacy carrier to Private Equity.
At McGill and Partners Cordina will lead retrospective reinsurance and legacy transactions for risks attaching to old underwriting years, providing capital relief and financial certainty for McGill and Partners’ clients.
