JLT Re appoints head of cyber analytics

Reinsurance broker JLT Re has appointed a head of cyber analytics. Jamie Pocock joined JLT in 2010 and has been a member of the JLT Re Analytics Actuarial team.

The broker said that with the cyber market growing at more than 20 percent per year, the need to understand and manage cyber risk challenges is more important than ever.

David Flandro, global head of analytics, JLT Re, said: “In his new role, Jamie will oversee our various cyber analytical efforts across JLT Re. This will encompass a number of partnership and development initiatives designed to lend even stronger support to our cyber reinsurance and risk transfer functions within the business. Jamie is one of the foremost cyber modelling and analytics experts in reinsurance globally and his appointment as represents a key step in enhancing JLT Re’s global cyber offering. We are delighted that Jamie will be bringing his considerable talents and expertise to this role.”

Pocock added: “As we continue to develop this team we can offer our clients unique and effective solutions. I am looking forward to working with our existing clients and helping to develop new business relationships in this growing area.”
