JLT Specialty launches entertainment division
JLT Specialty Insurance Services, a US subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, has launched an entertainment and hospitality practice following the recruitment of Joe Addison.
Addison has been appointed head of the US entertainment and hospitality practice and will also be responsible for leading the development and growth of JLT Specialty US in the southern US. He has also been appointed as executive vice president and member of the US executive committee.
He joins from Aon where he served as chief executive officer (CEO) of the entertainment practice. He took up the position in 2007 after overseeing the merger between Aon and Albert G Ruben’s sports and recreation specialty practice, a division that Addison started, and the entertainment group.
