JLT Specialty USA hires Aon exec for entertainment SVP role

JLT Specialty USA, a US subsidiary of re/insurer Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT), has appointed Cari Hernandez as senior vice president (SVP) for its entertainment and hospitality practice.

Hernandez will be based in JLT’s Los Angeles office, where she will be managing the needs of a number of complex clients in gaming, resorts, events, sports and leisure. She joins JLT following 12 years at Aon Risk Solutions as SVP of global strategy in the entertainment practice with a primary focus on gaming and live events. Prior to her role at Aon, Hernandez served as vice president of Near North Insurance Brokerage.
