Lockton posts 8% organic growth in the US

Privately held insurance broker Lockton recorded organic revenue growth in the US of 7.7 percent year on year in its recently completed fiscal year 2018.

Growth was driven by the employee benefits business which recorded a 14.1 percent year-on-year revenue growth.

Overall, Lockton grew revenues by 9.9 percent to $1.57 billion in the 2018 fiscal year.

"Our teams around the world delivered great results for our clients and that is reflected in our financial results," said Lockton executive chairman David Lockton. "Our business has never been stronger, and we start this new fiscal year with tremendous momentum," he added.

Lockton's international operations grew 10.9 percent year on year, surpassing the £300 million mark for the first time.

"We continue to see opportunities for growth," said CEO Ron Lockton. "But we see it not just as economic or revenue growth, but growth in the value we deliver for clients and professional growth for our associates around the world," he added.
