Marsh bolsters UK FINPRO with new appointments

Broker  Marsh has made two key appointments into its UK Specialty Financial and Professional (FINPRO) practice.

Tim Payne (pictured) has been made UK Chairman of the FINPRO practice while Michael Morgan has been named Head of Professional Liability, UK FINPRO. Both report to Beth Thurston, the newly-appointed UK CEO, FINPRO, Marsh Specialty.

Payne has over 35 years' industry experience and was previously Head of Professional Liability, UK FINPRO. He began his career at Bowring Professional Indemnity and has extensive experience working with major UK and international firms.

Morgan succeeds Payne as Head of Professional Liability, UK FINPRO. Previously Head of Global Professions, Morgan advises global law firms, consultants, and accountants on their professional risks.

Morgan has over 30 years’ experience across financial lines, reinsurance, and captive management, and has been with Marsh since 2003.

Thurston said: “Our UK FINPRO team has an important role to play in supporting clients as they navigate the rapidly-evolving risk landscape and providing solutions for some of their most complex needs. Tim and Mike are highly-respected industry professionals and bring many years of experience to these roles, which will be of great benefit to our clients and colleagues alike.”
