Miller poaches another senior exec from Guy Carpenter

Re/insurance broker Miller has further expanded its facultative property team with the appointment of Mark Sherwin.

Sherwin will be based in London in a broking and business production role.

Sherwin joins Miller from broker Guy Carpenter. He has previously worked for SAIL (AIG), and Arthur J Gallagher.

The company also recently hired Guy Carpenter's senior vice president Damian Richards to its UK facultative property team.

The duo will be responsible for developing tailored facultative reinsurance solutions for Miller's clients.

Neil Higgins, head of facultative reinsurance in London, commented: "With his extensive experience and knowledge in the facultative property arena, Mark is a valuable addition to our team.

"Our continued investment in industry-leading talent underlines our commitment to growth and to providing exceptional service and solutions to both new and existing clients."
