Miller swoops on Gallagher broker to expand specialty business in Asia
Re/insurance broker Miller has hired property broker Amanda Lee to further strengthen its specialty business in Asia.
Lee joins Miller from Gallagher in Singapore, where she was a broker for seven years. Prior to that, she spent seven years as a broker at PWS Singapore and six years in treaty underwriting at R&V Re Singapore.
Lee will be working closely with the broking teams in Singapore and London to support the company's growth plans with existing and prospective new clients. Her core focus will be in the property and casualty sector across South East Asia and Taiwan. The company highlighted her strong underwriting relationships in the Singapore market and the wider region.
“Amanda has a successful track record of handling facultative placements on behalf of clients throughout Asia and will prove a great addition to our highly accomplished broking team,” said Chihiro Maekawa, head of property and casualty at Miller Singapore.
