Minority-led broker Protecdiv grows team with senior appointment

Protecdiv, the first tier-one minority-led insurance and reinsurance broker in the US, has appointed Jeffrey Jabon as senior advisor, to help drive global development at the firm.

Jabon will be responsible for supporting the creation and launch of the Protecdiv financial lines practice including its product and service offerings. He will assist with establishing new relationships and raise awareness of the benefits of selecting the broker as a trusted insurance partner.

Jabon has 25 years’ experience in the industry, including a stint as senior vice-president, head of professional lines at Chubb in Bermuda, and joins the broker from Ernst & Young. At EY he was senior manager on the Americas FSO Advisory team responsible for insurance operations improvement, underwriting and transformation.
