MS Amlin nabs seasoned treaty reinsurance underwriter from Tokio Marine
Lloyd’s market global re/insurer MS Amlin Underwriting has hired an experienced reinsurance underwriter from Tokio Marine Kiln as part of its ongoing expansion to drive profitable growth.
Paul Evans, seasoned treaty reinsurance underwriter, has joined the firm as senior underwriter marine reinsurance. Evans will report into Malcolm Barnes, head of marine reinsurance.
Evans has almost two decades of reinsurance market experience, most recently at Tokio Marine Kiln, where he held the role of reinsurance underwriter, working on a broad and complex treaty portfolio. Evans was also deputy chair of the Lloyd’s Market Association property reinsurance panel.
Evans’ appointment further strengthens MS Amlin’s reinsurance proposition and follows the recent hires of Grant Baxter, head of reinsurance and deputy CUO, and Malcolm Barnes, head of marine reinsurance.
