OdysseyRe promotes CUO for facultative and agro in LatAm and the Caribbean

OdysseyRe has named Alejandro Zuñiga as chief underwriting officer for its facultative and agro business in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Zuñiga joined OdysseyRe in 2016 as a senior facultative underwriter in Mexico City. Since then he has written business for OdysseyRe throughout the Latin American region. He reports to Philippe Mallier, chief executive officer for OdysseyRe Latin America.

Zuñiga has more than 14 years of experience in the re/insurance industry. Odyssey said his expertise and knowledge of its business positions made him ideally suited to lead this business segment.
