PartnerRe swoops for head of financial risks from AXIS Re

Bermuda-based PartnerRe has appointed Jeffrey Ryan as head of financial risks. He joins from AXIS Re.

In his new role, Ryan will assume the leadership of PartnerRe's global financial risks team and portfolio. Based in Stamford, he will report to Greg Haft, CEO specialty lines.

Ryan has extensive experience in financial risks reinsurance and has spent the majority of his 30-year career in credit & bond, mortgage and other financial risks underwriting and leadership positions, most recently as head of credit, bond and mortgage at Axis Re.
