PERILS increases loss estimate of Xaver

PERILS AG has increased the loss estimate for windstorm Xaver to €759 million.

The third estimate of the property insurance market loss is an increase from its second loss estimate of €727 million which was issued by PERILS on March 5, 2014.

Windstorm Xaver, also known as Sinterklaasstorm in the Netherlands, Bodil in Denmark and Sven in Sweden, affected Western and Northern Europe on December 5 and 6, 2013.
