PIB acquires Aberdeen-based insurance broker

PIB Insurance Brokers has entered into an agreement to acquire Carmichael & Partners, an Aberdeen-based general insurance broker specialising in in the delivery of bespoke professional services to businesses in Aberdeen and North of Scotland.

This is the fifth acquisition by PIB since the alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group acquired a significant equity stake in the PIB group in December 2015.
