QBE hires ex-Sun Life, AXA exec to support business growth in Asia

QBE Insurance Group has hired a former  Sun Life and  AXA executive as head of digital partnership distribution in Asia.

John Trotter joined QBE Asia at the start of July, based in its Hong Kong office.

Trotter brings extensive experience in end-to-end partnership development, infrastructure creation, partnership sourcing, strategy development and commercial negotiation.

Trotter was the head of e-distribution, digital partnerships and innovation, Asia, at insurer Sun Life until February 2020. Prior to that, he served as corporate development director at AXA Asia. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of senior roles at Tesco Bank, RBS, Aegon UK, Standard Life, and Lloyds Banking Group.
