QBE North America appoints senior vice president

QBE North America has appointed Eric Pruss as its new senior vice president (SVP), head of personal lines P&C.

In this role, Pruss will manage the firm’s range and insurance business, as well as oversee personal insurance products that have been distributed through independent agent and brokers, affinity groups and affiliated agencies.

Pruss is based in the company’s New York office and will report to Alan Driscoll, president, standard lines P&C and chief underwriting officer.

Driscoll said: “The addition of a leader of Eric’s calibre helps to position QBE as a leader in the personal lines space and is another example of our bringing in top talent to drive profitable growth.
