RSG's Trident Marine strikes underwriting deal with Nationwide

Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) subsidiary Trident Marine Managers has unveiled a new delegated authority underwriting agreement with Nationwide E&S to provide recreational marine and marine equipment insurance solutions, along with workers’ compensation.

Trident is a managing general underwriter for the specialty marine and offshore energy industries.

Trident’s Nationwide E&S recreational marine and marine insurance solutions will be available in all US states.

“We are delighted to continue expanding our relationship with Nationwide E&S to develop additional capabilities to service our retail agent clients and insureds,” said Jorge Pecci, marine vertical head at RSG Underwriting Managers.

Martin Hayes, managing director of Trident Marine Managers, added: “The extensive experience of Jeana Ramos, Clarke Smith and John Michel in their respective Marine niches will help our clients and Trident’s profitably expand in the growing Recreational Marine and Marine Equipment markets.”
