Sedgwick plucks claims guru from Covéa for UK private client leadership
Technology-driven risk solutions provider Sedgwick mined the ranks of Covéa for a claims manager it will put at the front of its drive in the private client segment in the UK.
Steve Godbold will become private client director in the UK to succeed Clive Ellis, who is stepping back to pursue other interests, while continuing consult for the group.
Godbold has over twenty years in claims, including the most recent eight years spent at Covéa and nearly ten years prior at Sterling Insurance.
Sedgwick CEO in the UK Paul White said: “Together with Giles Fairmann’s joining as private client development director in 2022, Steve’s appointment is a real advantage in terms of the skillset he’ll bring to the team. The enhanced service level offering this will mean for our clients will bolster Sedgwick’s status as a tour de force in the high-net-worth market. “
