Sequel appoints new CFO as it ponders further growth

London-based re/insurance software provider Sequel has appointed Tom Boucher as the chief financial officer (CFO).

He joins Sequel from Camwell Management, where he was partner. Boucher has held a number of roles within and supporting private equity backed companies in the past.

His most recent roles include CFO of Montagu private equity backed University of Law, and CFO at Data Explorers. Prior to that, he held various senior finance and business development positions at BT Group, and was the group financial controller at Amaze.

Mario Garcia, CEO of Sequel, said: “Tom’s impressive and successful track record of working in technology-enabled and private equity backed businesses makes him the perfect fit for us. His expertise will play a vital role in helping to accelerate Sequel’s growth in the months and years ahead.”

Boucher added: “Sequel has consistently delivered innovative solutions to its customers over the years. The company's ground-breaking software is driving real change within the insurance market and the industry is waking up to the opportunities that this technology presents.

"I look forward to working with Mario and the team to help support Sequel’s next phase of growth.”
