Skuld reveals new head of Oslo business unit
Marine insurance provider Skuld has appointed Simone Ingeberg as the new head of Skuld Oslo 1, the larger of its two Oslo business units.
The company recently appointed Kristoffer Kohmann as the new head of its second Oslo unit.
Ingeberg was most recently vice-president, head of FDD, and her promotion follows 10 years at Skuld. Prior to this, she was a lawyer at Wikborg Rein.

Her reputation and strong relationships in the market leave her well-placed to lead Oslo 1, and ensure continuity while maintaining the outstanding service for which Skuld is known. Ingeberg commented: "It has been a pleasure contributing to the success of Skuld Oslo 1 thus far. We have an incredible team in place and I am very much looking forward to taking a leading role as we continue to grow."
In her new role, Ingeberg will oversee operations in Oslo 1, which services clients based in Belgium, Canada, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, the US, and Central & South America.
The company said that within Ingeberg’s Oslo 1 team, Øystein Djuv-Stiansen will remain vice-president, head of claims. Djuv-Stiansen has been with Skuld since 2012 and was promoted to head of claims in August 2013. Before Skuld he was with Wikborg Rein and at the tanker owners Odfjell.
The Oslo 1 team will be supported by the newly-promoted Peter Hazell. He takes up his new role as assistant vice-president, head of defence, in Oslo 1. Coming from the international maritime law firm Ince & Co, Hazell has been with Skuld for two years and will focus on maintaining Skuld’s high service level at Oslo 1.
