Starr Companies hires former CNA VP

Starr Companies has appointed Tim Haggerty as vice president of financial lines, based in New York.

Specialising in director and officers (D&O) and employment practices liability, Haggerty will be responsible for the profitable growth and alignment of resources for Starr Companies’ public company management liability products and clients.

Haggerty has 24 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors, having most recently served as vice president at CNA Insurance.

While at CNA, he has also served as assistant vice president, and joined the firm in 1998 as a senior underwriter.
