Stonybrook Capital boosts team with former JLT Capital Markets execs

Stonybrook Capital, the investment bank focused on the insurance industry, has strengthened its executive team with two hires, one from JLT Capital Markets, and one promotion.

It has promoted Thomas Deane to managing director. He joined Stonybrook Capital in 2017 as a director; prior to that he was a banker at JLT Capital Markets and before that an executive at Benfield Advisory in London.

Todd White joins Stonybrook Capital as a managing director. He was the founder of Puma Advisors, a boutique consultancy providing corporate finance, structuring and tax services to re/insurance, asset management and fintech/blockchain markets. Prior to forming Puma Advisors, White worked for Montpelier Reinsurance Group and Flagstone Reinsurance.

Sara Smith, joins Stonybrook Capital an associate following two years as analyst at JLT Capital Markets. Prior to JLT Capital Markets, she was an analyst at Greenwich Associates.
