Survey respondents focus on innovation


Respondents to the Global Awards Survey, currently being conducted by the team at Intelligent Insurer, have been focusing heavily on innovation in the industry, a recent analysis of the data compiled so far has revealed.
Of all the topics covered in the survey, which has now been completed by more than 200 senior industry executives, the theme of innovation has engendered the most passionate responses so far.

One respondent described Willis as the most innovative broker stating: “Because it is in their DNA.” Another said Towers Watson displayed innovation saying: “When coupled with the analytical skills of the rest of their organisation, they are pretty hard to beat.”
On the reinsurance front, one said Tokio Millennium Re is the most innovative reinsurer because of “its intelligent thinking and deep analytical abilities”.
Another named Gen Re because “they have their ear to the ground for new opportunities”.
