Swiss Re pushes talent forward to drive distribution strategy in US & Canada

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the primary insurance arm of global reinsurer Swiss Re, has expanded the role of a North American leader as it looks to enhance its broker distribution strategy in the US and Canada.

Allen Kwan (Pictured) has been appointed head of customer & distribution management of North America.

In his expanded role, Kwan will oversee the customer and broker distribution strategy for the US and Canada ensuring an increased focus on the delivery of value proposition for the respective segments. Based in New York, Kwan will continue to report to Katie McGrath, CEO North America, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.

Kwan joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2012. He has served as head customer management North America since August 2020 and was named as the interim head of distribution management in November 2021. McGrath said: “Allen has demonstrated strong leadership over the past decade with Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and we are excited to welcome him into this expanded role.
