Syndicate 1975 receives Lloyd’s approval for January, hires from Chubb
Coverys Syndicate 1975 has received approval from Lloyd’s to begin underwriting business with effect from Jan. 1, 2018.
Syndicate 1975 will be managed by Coverys’ own managing agency, Coverys Managing Agency, with exclusive backing from Coverys.
US-based Coverys is a provider of medical professional liability insurance.

Keith Bryceland will join in January to underwrite for Coverys Syndicate 1975. Bryceland brings over 25 years of experience, specializing in underwriting global professional liability insurance and reinsurance. He most recently served as senior underwriter at Chubb Syndicate 2488, underwriting all classes of professional liability insurance and reinsurance, ranging from medical to legal liability.
Coverys Syndicate 1975 will be a source of London-based insurance and reinsurance capacity providing protection for physicians, hospitals, and other providers of healthcare, coupled with risk management and mitigation solutions to improve margins and increase patient safety.
