Insurtech DGTAL gets international recognition for AI and machine learning tools

Insurtech DGTAL, a Swiss-based Software-as-a-Service company, has received international recognition for its deep analytics and artificial intelligence-powered claims handling tools.

The German Institute for Service Quality has recognised DGTAL’s Driller and Huston as ‘Insurance products of the Year 2022’.

Driller is a deep analytics tool that enables to digitise and gain valuable insight from the structured and unstructured data of insurance portfolios.

Huston is the company’s collaborative claims handling and digital file management system, automatically pre-processing and preparing documents for claim agents, through an artificial intelligence model.

Earlier this month, DGTAL also made it to the 5th annual InsurTech100 list.

DGTAL CTO and co-founder Florian Herzog (Prictured) said: "Our multiple distinctions confirm our strong discipline and relentless effort to create AI and machine learning products that change the way insurers’ understand and manage their claims.

"We have only one ambition: to offer the insurance industry the maximum value they can derive from their unstructured data and to give them efficient tools to perform claims processing, faster, better, and more accurately.

"The time couldn’t be more right: cost pressures, high inflation, aging workforce with the retirement of experienced claims handlers, and manual and error-prone tasks are drivers of change. We are proud and delighted that Driller and Huston provide not only answers but also bottom-line results.”
