The Hartford bolsters board with tech innovator

US-based property/casualty insurer The Hartford has appointed Carlos Dominguez to its board of directors, as the company accelerates its digital strategy and investments in technology.

Dominguez is president and chief operating officer of Sprinklr, a global, social-media-management company. Previously, he spent 22 years in a variety of roles at Cisco Systems. Before his time at Cisco, he held management positions at Timeplex, and New Jersey Bell/Bell Atlanticom. Dominguez serves on the board of directors for Medidata Solutions, and Sprinklr.

“Carlos is a proven innovator who brings a customer-centric approach to helping companies develop digital strategies to take advantage of disruptive trends,” said The Hartford’s chairman and CEO Christopher Swift. “We look forward to having Carlos join the board as we focus on our data analytics and digital capabilities to continuously improve the way we operate and deliver value to customers.”
