TigerRisk bolsters Bermuda reinsurance and retro teams with Neon hire

TigerRisk Partners, a risk, capital and strategic advisor to the re/insurance industries, has appointed Christopher Conway from Neon for its Bermuda reinsurance and retro teams.

In his newly created role, Conway will report to Alex Bridges, partner and head of retrocession.

Conway joins TigerRisk from Neon Underwriting Bermuda where he was senior vice president helping build a startup reinsurance portfolio of property cat, per risk and retrocession business. He began his reinsurance industry career at AXIS Re as a senior modeling analyst before being promoted to assistant vice president, underwriting. He later joined Third Point Re where he was underwriter and head of risk analytics. After Third Point Re, Conway held senior underwriting roles at AQR Re and Ascot Underwriting Bermuda.

“Chris is an exciting hire for us in a market that’s full of opportunity,” said Bridges. “His broad background, technical expertise and extensive knowledge of the market will be a great asset to our clients, both on the reinsurance and retro sides of the business.”

Conway commented: “I am extremely pleased to be joining TigerRisk, a company I’ve watched create a respected place in the global reinsurance market in such a short period of time. I especially admire Tiger’s creativity and drive to find unique solutions for their clients.”
