Tokio Marine secures senior QBE talent

Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) has lured a senior executive from QBE Europe to support its growing European company, Tokio Marine Europe (TME).

Renaud de Pressigny (pictured) has taken up the role of non-executive director at  Tokio Marine Europe from his previous post as managing director of QBE Europe’s French branch.

De Pressigny brings 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry to the new job. He has held senior roles with brokers, insurance and reinsurance companies and has a wide network of contacts and a successful track record in transformation, growth and customer focus,  Tokio Marine said.

Christian Kanu, CEO of TME, said: “We welcome Renaud to our board and are delighted to be able to count on his diversity and wealth of experience at a time when  TMHCC is growing rapidly in Europe.”

Commenting on his appointment, de Pressigny said: “Being on the European board of directors of an international group of companies that is growing and evolving is truly exciting. I am passionate about insurance, and I am very much looking forward to contributing with my knowledge and experience to help enhance  TMHCC’s European presence.”
