Tokio Millennium Re adds former KPMG CEO to board of directors

Bermuda-based reinsurer Tokio Millennium Re has appointed Richard Bennison to its board as an independent non-executive director.

Bennison has over 35 years of experience in the financial sector, having spent the majority of his career with KPMG.

He most recently held the position of chief operating officer for KPMG Europe and CEO of KPMG in the UK.

Bennison also serves as the chairman of Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicates and Tokio Marine Kiln Insurance, both affiliates of TMR.

Ian Brimecome, chairman of the board of directors, said: “We are delighted to have Richard join TMR as a member of our board. Richard brings with him a wide-ranging, international experience in financial services and other sectors adding a strong and diverse expertise to our Board.”
