Travelers appoints new European COO

Travelers has appointed Matthew Wilson as its chief operating officer for Europe.

Wilson joins Travelers from Willis Group, where he has worked since 2000. He will be based in London and will report to Sean Genden, the chief executive officer, who also previously held the role of COO until 2011.

“Matthew is a highly skilled manager with an impressive track record and I’m delighted to welcome him to the role of COO,” said Sean Genden, chief executive officer at Travelers Europe.
