Travelers poaches Axis exec
US insurer Travelers has appointed Jacqueline Hall-Shaw as product manager for its financial institutions (FI) team.
She joins from Axis Specialty Europe, where she held the role of vice president – financial institutions (FI).
Hall-Shaw will be responsible for managing the Travelers FI business and developing its product strategy. Based in London, she will report to Jonathan Davies, general manager, professional & specialist risks.
Davies said: “We’ve been successful in building a strong portfolio of international FI business based on innovative underwriting and genuine market insight. Adding Jacqueline to the team provides us with an FI specialist who’s well-known in London and has a great track record. Her experience of the full range of FI products and territories combined with strategic know-how and business development acumen makes for a powerful combination.”
