Trust Re exits two business lines and branches to boost profitability

Bahrain-based re/insurer Trust Re has decided to cease all underwriting activities from its Labuan and Morocco branch offices, as well as underwriting both facultative aviation and liability lines of business.

The move is a part of its new strategic plans to centralise all its operations in its head office in Bahrain.

The company looks to implement its restructured operational model, which it said focuses on "profitability, cost management and maximising its core strengths".

Trust Re reaffirmed its commitment to Asia, Africa and in all other lines of business.
