V3 Insurance replaces founding president/CEO Rivera
V3 Insurance Partners, a specialty insurance programme administrator, has appointed its chief operating officer Brian Janitschke as president, replacing outgoing president and CEO Susan Rivera.
Rivera has accepted a new position at Tokio Marine HCC.
Before joining V3, Janitschke was leader of business intelligence at Western National Insurance. He also served as senior vice president within the programme division at QBE North America.
Janitschke will be based at V3’s Newtown, Pennsylvania offices. The company has also formed an executive committee to ensure a smooth transition.
Commenting on the appointment, Jim Stanard, chairman of V3’s board, said: “Mr. Janitschke is one of the most successful and experienced executives in the managing general agency (MGA) sector. He is a skilled underwriter and promoter of data analytics.
"He will be aided by an Executive Committee which includes founding members Pam Wagner, Senior Vice President and National Program Manager and Ken Hagen, Chief Financial and Information Officer.”
Janitschke commented: “Under Susan Rivera’s leadership, V3 has become one of the industry’s most progressive and successful MGAs, growing to over $100 million premium written in under nine years.
