White Oak brings MS Amlin's Perry as chief underwriting officer

White Oak, a specialist re/insurance underwriting agency focusing on niche markets, has appointed Lisa Perry as chief underwriting officer (CUO).

Perry most recently served as senior underwriter at MS Amlin, responsible for managing and underwriting a large and diverse portfolio of niche worldwide transportation businesses. She has 27 years' experience in the industry, with specialisms in truck physical damage, motor truck cargo, private & commercial comprehensive motor, forestry & construction, dealers open lot and garagekeepers legal liability, in the US & Canada, Middle East, Caribbean and Europe.

In her new role, Perry will drive the underwriting strategy and develop existing business plans, in conjunction with the respective line of business leaders, to generate profitable growth in White Oak’s current and new markets. Drawing on her specialist background in transportation, she will lead the White Oak transportation team and manage her own portfolio of client business.
