Willis Towers Watson names Nancy Woode NA head of property broking

Broker Willis Towers Watson has appointed Nancy Woode as head of property broking in North America.

Woode joined the company in 2009 as a senior broker. Prior to this appointment, she led the Atlantic South property broking team. She began her career as an underwriter in Canada with Commonwealth Insurance Company.

In her new role, Woode will lead the company’s North America property insurance risk management business, which offers tailored, analytically-driven property solutions.

Based in Atlanta, Woode will report to Joe Peiser, global head of broking, Willis Towers Watson.

“We’re thrilled to appoint Nancy to this critical position, as she is a world-class property broking leader,” said Peiser. “Her deep knowledge of complex property risks and catastrophic exposure makes her well suited to lead this team. She will add great value to our property broking client portfolio.”
